Aristocratic Reflection of Burgundy Chardonnay
Modest yet prestigious, Château de Meursault brings together parcels of Meursault Villages and Premier Cru in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Driven by a passion for purity and minerality, this estate offers a refined expression of the local Chardonnay, between chalky finesse and aromatic elegance.

Terroir & Grapes: Limestone & White Rock
The vines extend over about 12 ha on clay-limestone soils, sometimes chalky, facing southeast in areas like Le Poruzot and Les Pellans. An ideal terroir for a balanced Chardonnay, combining mineral tension and saline texture.

Viticulture & Philosophy: Authenticity and Respect
Practiced in sustainable viticulture, with grass cover between rows, manual harvesting, and sorting in the cellar to select only ripe bunches. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are mainly trained in Guyot.

Vinification & Aging: Balance Between Purity and Roundness
Gentle whole cluster pressing, fermentation in stainless steel and partially new wooden vats, aging for 12 to 16 months with 25–40% new barrels and light stirring. The wines are neither fined nor filtered, to preserve their complexity and texture.

Iconic Cuvées

  • Château de Meursault Villages: Gourmet Chardonnay, notes of yellow apple, ripe pear, light vanilla, and saline minerality. Beautiful final tension.

  • Château de Meursault 1er Cru Le Poruzot: More structured, aromas of ripe citrus, white flowers, fine spices; ample mouthfeel with chalky texture and long finish.

  • Château de Meursault 1er Cru Les Pellans: Elegant, mentholated, and saline, notes of candied lemon, flint, drinking with finesse and distinction.
