A heart of terroir between power and elegance
Located north of Saint-Estèphe, Château de Marbuzet stands out as a highly respected cru bourgeois, combining the typical depth of the left bank with the subtlety of modern winemaking. The estate carefully manages each step to fully express its deep gravel.

Terroir & grape varieties: gravelly gravity & cabernet classicism
The vineyard covers about 32 ha of deep gravel mixed with clay. The classic grape composition includes Cabernet Sauvignon (~60%), Merlot (~30%), and Petit Verdot (~10%), expressing structure, density, and freshness.

Viticulture & philosophy: rigor and balance
Sustainable viticulture with ground cover, biodiversity management, and hand-picked harvests sorted in plots. The focus is on optimal maturity, prevention, and vintage typicity year after year.

Vinification & aging: elegant structure
Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks, controlled fermentation, regular pump-overs, and maceration for ~3 weeks. Aging for 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new) with stirring to enhance texture and harmony.
