Based in Pernand-Vergelesses, beneath the famed Corton hill, Domaine Rapet Père & Fils is a historic Burgundy estate with roots dating back to the 18th century. Today, under the guidance of Vincent and Sylvette Rapet, the domaine cultivates around 20 hectares across prestigious terroirs like Corton-Charlemagne, Pernand, Savigny, Aloxe-Corton, and Beaune.

The house style combines respectful viticulture, careful vinification, and a deep commitment to clarity and terroir expression.

Philosophy and winemaking

In the vineyard, the Rapet team favors natural balance: soil plowing, thoughtful cover crops, and reasoned treatments. Harvesting is manual, and parcels are vinified separately using native yeasts. Gentle fermentations and aging in oak barrels (about 20% new) allow the wines to retain their identity and freshness.

The goal is purity — not power — and faithful expression of each site.

Wine style

Rapet’s whites are defined by their tension, precision, and mineral drive. The Corton-Charlemagne is the pinnacle: bold yet refined, built for aging. The reds are supple and bright, with fine tannins, expressive fruit, and excellent balance.
