A family estate serving the terroir
Present in Cornas for several generations, Alain Voge took over the estate in 1962, gradually steering the farm towards high-quality viticulture. From the 1970s, he revived the abandoned hillsides and began bottling, becoming a key player in the revival of Cornas and Saint-Péray .
Committed viticulture & organic transitions
On 13 hectares (8 ha red, 5 ha white), the estate practices organic and biodynamic farming, certified since 2016. The harvest is 100% manual, with meticulous work in the plots, and soil strengthened by plowing and cover crops .
Style: finesse, balance, and purity
The Syrah of Cornas (Les Vieilles Vignes, Les Chailles, Chapelle Saint-Pierre...) reflect their granitic terroir through precise tannins, saline tension, and aromas of raspberry, spices, and graphite. The whites (Marsanne of Saint-Péray) are elegant, vibrant, often sparkling .
Iconic cuvées
Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes: old vines (~60 years), long aging, classic expression of Syrah.
Cornas Les Chailles: accessible youth, freshness, spices, and structure.
Cornas Les Vieilles Fontaines & Chapelle Saint-Pierre: refined terroir and affirmed power.
Saint-Péray Fleur de Crussol, Harmonie, Les Bulles d’Alain: structured and delicate profiles in white.
Viticultural transmission
Alain Voge (deceased in 2020) passed the estate to Lionel Fraisse, continuing the trajectory initiated with Albéric Mazoyer (2004-2018). Manual work and respect for the terroir remain at the heart of viticultural practices.
