Armand de Brignac is not just a Champagne: it's a statement. Behind its immediately recognizable metallic bottles – handcrafted and marked with a hand-polished pewter label – lies a Champagne of very high quality, crafted by the Cattier family, winemakers in Chigny-les-Roses for 13 generations.
Since its acquisition by Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, and the entry of the LVMH group, Armand de Brignac has established itself as an absolute reference of contemporary luxury, without ever renouncing the artisanal demand of its production.
Terroir & philosophy
The grapes come from the best crus of the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, with a predominance of Pinot Noir, combined with Chardonnay and Meunier. The estate exclusively selects the premier and grand crus, harvested at perfect maturity.
Each cuvée is based on a subtle blend of three successive vintages, a rare choice that allows for the combination of depth, freshness, and complexity.
Vinification & style
The process is entirely artisanal: gentle pressing, vinification by plot in stainless steel vats, strict selection of the first juices. The wines are aged on lees for several years, with a very low dosage to preserve the natural balance.
The Armand de Brignac style is immediately recognizable: ample, silky, racy, with great aromatic finesse, but never demonstrative. A Champagne of texture, more than power.
Iconic cuvées
Brut Gold: the icon. Balanced blend of the three Champagne grape varieties. Notes of yellow fruits, brioche, honey.
Blanc de Blancs: 100% Chardonnay, mineral purity, crystalline salinity.
Rosé: gourmet and refined. Fresh red fruits, mild spices, lively finish.
Demi-Sec: more generous, perfect for refined desserts or spicy cuisine.
Blanc de Noirs “Assemblage Three”: ultra-limited cuvée (less than 3,000 bottles), 100% Pinot Noir, contained power and masterful complexity.
