Neighboring Glenfiddich but distinctly different, the distillery still belongs to the family group William Grant & Sons. Its identity is based on the work of David Stewart, master blender since 1974, who introduced practices like double maturation. Traditional Methods

The Balvenie is renowned for its five rare crafts: growing barley on the estate, traditional floor malting, a team of coopers, an in-house coppersmith, and on-site aging. This level of autonomy has become exceptional in Scotland.
