Among the greatest names of Brunello di Montalcino, the Siro Pacenti estate embodies a unique style, combining the depth of Sangiovese with a rare contemporary precision. Founded in the 1970s by Siro Pacenti, the estate has established itself as a benchmark thanks to the ambition and vision of his son Giacomo Pacenti, who has been leading the estate since the 1980s.

Two terroirs, one signature

The estate spans about thirty hectares, divided between the north (Pelagrilli) and the south (Piancornello) of Montalcino. This dual geological anchorage allows for a blend of finesse, freshness, and structure, with the clay-limestone soils of the south providing power and depth, and those of the north offering tension and elegance.

Style: balance, intensity, purity

The wines of Siro Pacenti are known for their controlled concentration, refinement, and longevity. The fruit is always pure, the tannic structure of great finesse, and the barrel aging perfectly integrated. Each bottle reflects the desire to achieve excellence without sacrificing the identity of Sangiovese.

Iconic cuvées

  • Brunello di Montalcino “Vecchie Vigne”: from the oldest vines of the estate, a deep, complex wine with immense aging potential.

  • Brunello di Montalcino “Pelagrilli”: more accessible when young, but with a beautiful structure and vibrant fruitiness.

  • Rosso di Montalcino: of rare precision, it often surpasses many Brunello.

An avant-garde philosophy

Giacomo Pacenti is one of the first to have introduced parcel vinification, complete destemming, and careful aging in new barrels from the best French coopers. The work in the vineyards is rigorous, with sustainable practices, and a constant pursuit of purity and precision.
