Description
The wine shows a deep golden hue with amber reflections, a sign of graceful ageing. The bouquet is rich, complex and captivating, offering aromas of roasted almonds, hazelnuts, candied citrus, honey, marzipan and dried flowers. Layers of fresh butter, brioche and white truffle further enhance the aromatic depth.
On the palate, the attack is broad and silky, with remarkable freshness still present despite its age. The texture is dense and unctuous, balanced by a fine mineral and saline backbone, typical of Meursault’s finest terroirs. The finish is long and persistent, with lingering notes of candied citrus, dried fruits and warm stone. A noble wine, showcasing the depth of a Premier Cru at full maturity.
