Description
"Irene Grünenfelder's single-vineyard wine, the 2016 Jenins Pinot Noir Eichholz opens with a pure, precise and fresh yet still toasty bouquet of black berries, crushed stones and herbal, lemon zest notes. Full-bodied, rich and textured on the palate, this is a dense and concentrated yet elegant and refined Pinot with fine, already well-integrated tannins and the soft, juicy texture of a well-vinified wine with long yeast contact. The tannins have a nice, refreshing grip and the finish is pure and aromatic, with refreshing berry and terroir flavors. Excellent! "
