Description
From a legendary vintage, Gaudium 2001 is one of the finest wines ever produced by Marqués de Cáceres. Made from very old Tempranillo vines in Rioja Alta and aged extensively in new French oak, it reveals stunning complexity: stewed black fruit, tobacco, truffle, cocoa and fine integrated wood. The palate is silky, broad, and perfectly matured, with a long and noble finish. Now at its peak, this Rioja is a benchmark for classic Spanish winemaking at its finest.
