Medoc Rigor and Contemporary Elegance
Located in Ludon-Médoc, at the gates of Margaux, Château d’Agassac is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc, with a history dating back to the 13th century. Classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, it combines medieval architecture and precision viticulture.
Under the guidance of Xavier Dubourdieu and oenologist Éric Boissenot, the wines reveal a classic and refined expression of the Haut-Médoc: straight structure, black fruits, fine tannins. The vineyard, cultivated according to demanding environmental principles, rests on perfectly drained deep gravel.
Iconic Cuvées
Château d’Agassac: the main cuvée, elegant and suitable for aging.
La Dame d’Agassac: a second wine that is supple and accessible.
Précision d’Agassac: a micro-cuvée from old vines.
The style of Agassac reflects the Medoc balance between freshness, straightness, and accessibility.
