2010 Château d’Agassac – Haut-Médoc
Located in Ludon-Médoc near Margaux, Château d’Agassac is a top Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. The superb 2010 vintage produced deeply colored, age-worthy wines. This cuvée blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged in French oak (about 40% new).
Nose: Blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, pencil lead, sweet tobacco, forest floor.
Palate: Elegant structure, ripe tannins, medium-full body. A balanced claret with fresh acidity, refined oak integration and long finish. Classic Left Bank style with maturity and finesse.
