Founded in 1835, Domaine Matrot stands as a pillar of Meursault’s legacy. Now under the leadership of sixth-generation sisters Elsa and Adèle, alongside parents Thierry and Pascale, the estate spans over 23 hectares across the Côte de Beaune — including revered sites in Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Monthélie, and Maranges.

From the 1970s, Matrot moved away from chemical fertilizers and embraced organic farming by the 1990s–2000s. Vineyard care is holistic—organic compost, careful soil tilling, and manual harvesting.
