Domaine Prieur-Brunet — Classic elegance from the Côte de Beaune

Based in Santenay and founded in 1804, Domaine Prieur-Brunet is a long-established Burgundy estate known for producing refined and honest wines. In 2017, it was acquired by Maison Albert Bichot, which has preserved its traditional style while enhancing quality across the board.

The domaine’s 20 hectares span some of the finest appellations of the Côte de Beaune, including Santenay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne, and Pommard. Vineyard work is sustainable, and each parcel is carefully tended to bring out its individual character.

Philosophy and winemaking

Prieur-Brunet adheres to a classic, terroir-focused approach. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted meticulously. In the cellar, gentle vinifications respect the fruit: native yeasts, low extraction, and aging in French oak barrels, with a restrained use of new wood.
