A Bridge Between Bordeaux and Mendoza

Born in 1998 from the union between the expertise of the Cuvelier family from Bordeaux (Château Léoville-Poyferré) and the unique terroir of the Uco Valley, Cuvelier Los Andes was conceived to transpose the philosophy of the great classified growths to the heart of the Argentine Andes.

An Estate Fully Organic and Biodynamic

On 55 hectares perched at 1,100 meters, each grape variety – Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc – is cultivated using organic farming practices, with respectful methods (manual harvesting, double sorting, low yield) to reveal the purity of the fruit.

Style: Careful Concentration and Bordeaux Elegance

The cuvées combine intensity, freshness, and finesse: the Malbecs (Grand Malbec, Colección) express themselves with black fruit, cocoa, and a structured tannic framework, while the Grand Vin, the "Argentine cousin" of Léoville-Poyferré, reveals a sovereign balance between power and elegance.

Flagship Cuvée

Grand Vin is a blend dominated by Malbec and complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot, crafted with long aging (12–18 months) in medium-toasted barrels and resulting from micro-vinified selections.

Philosophy: Viticultural Tradition and Sustainable Innovation

The estate promotes gentle winemaking (long maceration, indigenous yeasts) and controlled aging, all within a winery integrated into the Andean landscape with an eco-responsible approach. The management is a transmission: Adrián Manchón (oenologist), aided by the new generation of the Cuvelier family.
