An iconic estate, rooted since 1955

Created by Maurice Dugat with the purchase of the Grange des Dîmes, the estate is now continued by Claude, assisted by his children Bertrand, Laëtitia, and Jeanne .

A precious 6 ha terroir, organic and active biodynamics

The vines, spread between personal plots and rentals, are managed according to organic and biodynamic principles. No herbicides or fertilizers, horse plowing, early manual harvesting to preserve freshness and finesse .

Clear vinification & measured aging

The Pinot Noir is 100% destemmed, fermented without pumping – only punch-downs – for about two weeks, then aged in François Frères barrels: 100% new wood in Grands Crus, 75% in Premiers, 40% in Village, and one-year-old barrels for Bourgogne. Little or no fining, light filtration, focus on purity .

Style: concentration without heaviness, fine tension

The wines display bright fruit, silky tannic structure, intense salinity, density without opulence. Freshness is the estate's signature .

Rare emblematic cuvées

  • Griotte‑Chambertin, Charmes‑Chambertin, Chapelle‑Chambertin (Grands Crus)

  • Lavaux‑Saint‑Jacques, Gevrey‑Chambertin 1er Cru (Premiers)

  • Gevrey‑Chambertin Village, Bourgogne Rouge

The Grands Crus have received professional scores from 94 to 100 pts, notably for Griotte 2002 . Production is confidential, with about 24,000 bottles/year ().

Aging potential & immediate freshness

The wines can be enjoyed young or reveal their quality over 10–20 years, combining immediacy and evolving elegance
