An elegant pillar of the plateau led by the Perrodo family
Long owned by the Perrodo family (2003–2023), Château La Dominique is now managed by Marie-Perrodo, heir to the vision of Paul Perrodo. She is supported by the manager Vincent Moreau, as well as the consulting oenologist Sandrine Garbay, who work together to refine the estate's classic-balanced style.

Terroir & grape varieties: limestone finesse and southern orientation
The 26 ha vineyard is located on south-facing limestone hills, with clay-limestone soils and ancient pebbles. The grape variety is dominated by Merlot (~60%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (~30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (~10%), promoting roundness, freshness, and complexity.

Viticulture & philosophy: respect for the place and fine expression
Sustainable viticulture, manual harvesting with meticulous sorting, controlled yields to concentrate the material. The estate adopts a practice of soil work and selective grassing, aiming for terroir precision and sustainability.

Vinification & aging: woody elegance and silky texture
Parcel-based vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, maceration for 3 to 4 weeks, gentle pump-overs. Aging for 16 to 18 months in French barrels (≈ 50% new), aiming for a balance between structure, aromatic finesse, and tannic suppleness.

Iconic cuvées
Château La Dominique (Grand Vin): bouquet of black cherry, graphite, mocha, fine spices. Structured palate, silky tannins, and long saline finish.
Horizons de La Dominique: second wine more open and fruity, vibrant, ready to drink young, true to the estate's style.
