An exceptional house since 1824

Founded in Jarnac by the Delamain family and now managed by Charles Braastad (9th generation), this house produces only XO cognacs and above, exclusively from the Grande Champagne cru, the most prestigious in the region.

Rediscovering the vine to better enhance it

Since 2019, Delamain has directly operated about twenty hectares on a lease in Bellevigne, securing its supplies and affirming the return to its winemaking roots in the heart of its historical terroir.

Style: purity, finesse, long complexity

Aged slowly in old oak barrels, without the addition of caramel or sugar, De Venoge cognacs are recognized for their refined elegance, airy texture, and notes of orchid, candied fruits, and bark.

Iconic cuvées and rare collections

  • Pale & Dry XO (created in 1920): one of the clearest and driest cognacs on the market.

  • Vesper & Extra: very long maturations.

  • Trés Vénérable: over 55 years of aging.

  • Réserve de la Famille, Pléiade (vintages/single casks), L’Oiseau Rare (tribute blend).

Philosophy: passion, time & terroir

Free from any artifice, each cuvée is assembled with extreme patience. Delamain advocates harmony between nature, rigor, and humanism, embodied by respectful practices, minimal intervention in the cellar, and century-old aging.
