Born into a renowned wine family, Olivier Leflaive launched his own domaine in 1984 in Puligny‑Montrachet, pioneering a négociant‑domaine model rooted in independence and quality. With holdings in core Côte de Beaune villages and partnerships across 100+ hectares, the domaine blends own estate focus with diverse terroir expressions. It stands today as a leader in sustainable, terroir-respecting winemaking.


Sensitive Viticulture & Terroir‑Driven Winemaking

The estate owns roughly 26 hectares spanning 82 named vineyards, including Premier and Grand Crus in Puligny‑Montrachet, Meursault, and Chassagne‑Montrachet. Farming is thoughtful and minimal — gentle ploughing, yield control, and HVE 3 environmental recognition. In the cellar, each wine is treated individually: delicate pressing, balanced use of oak, lees aging with selective bâtonnage, all to enhance texture without overwhelming purity.
