Domaine Saint‑Sébaste — Alpine purity in every glass

Nestled near Lake Neuchâtel, Domaine Saint‑Sébaste has become a quiet icon of Swiss natural wine. Family-owned and spanning around 20 hectares, it focuses on biodynamic viticulture, single-varietal wines, and a philosophy rooted in respect for nature and terroir.

The new generation has taken over with vision and precision, continuing a legacy of thoughtful farming and hands-off winemaking.

Philosophy and winemaking

Biodynamics is central: natural treatments, living soils, attention to lunar cycles. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation, no blends, low sulfites, and careful aging in neutral vessels allow the wines to express themselves with clarity and depth.

Each grape, each plot is given the space to speak — honestly and without interference.

Wine style

Saint‑Sébaste wines are light-footed, mineral, and vivid. The Pinot Noirs are ethereal: red berries, silky tannins, and lifted aromatics. Chardonnay is fresh yet textured, with saline edges and white fruit. Chasselas, in its various expressions, is a subtle but powerful carrier of place.

Across the board, the wines show precision, drinkability, and quiet complexity.

Signature cuvées

  • Pinot Noir – Bright and refined, with a delicate fruit profile.

  • Pinot Noir Réserve – More depth and silk, with elegant structure.

  • Chardonnay – Textured and zesty, with great freshness.

  • Chasselas Vieilles Vignes – Clean, mineral, and beautifully tense.

  • Natural wines – No sulfites, high energy, made in red, orange and white styles.

A discreet gem of the Swiss wine scene

With its biodynamic vision and pure style, Saint‑Sébaste captures the quiet elegance of Swiss viticulture. These are wines of place, patience, and precision — full of life and worthy of wider discovery.
