Description
“Les Véroilles” sits at the northern edge of Chambolle-Musigny, bordering Morey-Saint-Denis, with limestone-rich soils and elevated exposure. These factors give the wine lift, clarity and mineral finesse. Ghislaine Barthod, one of Burgundy’s great artisans, crafts this wine with restraint: native yeast fermentations, gentle extraction, and aging in oak barrels (around 30% new). The 2015 vintage offers ripe yet balanced fruit, and a structure built for aging.
Nose: violet, sour cherry, citrus peel, graphite, black tea.
Palate: lifted and taut, fine tannins, mineral spine, lingering elegance.
