Champagne "Abyss" 2017 Leclerc Briant Brut Zéro (avec coffret)
Leclerc Briant Abyss 2017 – A rare underwater-aged champagne, offering saline freshness, citrus notes and a long, chalky finish.
The Abyss 2017 Cuvée is a blend of Pinot Noir (34%), Meunier (33%), and Chardonnay (33%) from the 2017 harvest. It was disgorged in August 2021 and then immersed for 10 months in the waters off the coast of Ouessant Island, Brittany. This champagne is bottled without dosage.
Appearance: A golden hue enhanced by deep, luminous yellow reflections.
Nose: The cuvée reveals a rare quintessence, combining substance and a concentrated fruit profile with remarkable freshness and spicy nuances. Notes of warm apples, quince, and iodine emerge with aeration.
Palate: A fruit-driven, citrusy texture, elevated by iodized minerality and salinity, giving it remarkable depth and complexity.
