Les Traverses 2019 - Aurélien Lurquin
A rare Chardonnay parcel, this 2019 Brut Zéro by Aurélien Lurquin shows precision, energy, and mineral elegance.
Crafted from a tiny biodynamic parcel on the slopes of Romery, this single-vineyard Chardonnay by Aurélien Lurquin offers an uncompromising expression of the varietal’s purity and energy. Harvested in 2019 and aged 11 months in barrel on the lees, the wine is bottled without dosage and without filtration — a bold and authentic approach rooted in terroir.
The result is a Champagne of striking precision: elegant, chalky and vibrant, with aromas of candied lemon, fresh hazelnut and white flowers. The palate is lean, saline and intensely mineral, with a long, electric finish. With only just over 1000 bottles and 50 magnums produced, this is a rare gem for lovers of terroir-driven grower Champagne.
