Clos-Vougeot 1986 – Hervé Roumier
Clos-Vougeot 1986 – Hervé Roumier
Appearance:
Brick-red hue with garnet highlights, clear and luminous. The rim shows signs of age, typical of well-evolved Burgundy Grand Crus.
Nose:
Elegant and complex bouquet. Aromas of dried cherry, tobacco leaf, black truffle, forest floor, and aged leather. Subtle floral notes of wilted rose, soft licorice, and wild mushrooms add refinement.
Palate:
Silky entry with fully resolved tannins. The palate unfolds with poise, revealing flavors of preserved sour cherry, damp earth, and cocoa. A refined tension persists, supported by mature acidity. Long, layered finish with lingering notes of spice, undergrowth, and old wood.
