Description
The "4 Carac' Terres" 2016 from Domaine Henri Magnien is an exceptional Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, blending equal parts of fruit from four top vineyards: Lavaux St-Jacques, Estournelles St-Jacques, Les Cazetiers, and Les Champeaux. Made with 100% whole bunch fermentation and aged in 100% new oak, this cuvée mirrors the refinement of a Grand Cru. Aged in a single barrel crafted from 400-year-old Fontainebleau oak, it offers a complex nose of red and black fruits, floral notes, and spice. The palate is structured yet silky, with great depth and a long, elegant finish. Extremely limited production, showcasing the very best of the domaine.
