Description
“En Barberon” is a high-elevation parcel in Arbois, facing south and planted on rocky marl-limestone soils. This 2020 Chardonnay is vinified in a topped-up style (no oxidative notes), then aged on fine lees in oak barrels (15–20 % new), resulting in a pure and mineral-driven wine.
Nose: Green apple, ripe citrus, linden, chalk, almond, fresh butter.
Palate: Taut and precise entry, fine and compact texture. Balanced between ripe fruit and firm acidity. Long, chalky, mineral finish. A vibrant Chardonnay with Burgundian finesse and Jura energy.
