Château Giscours 2003 (Impériale, 6 l)
A bold and mature Margaux in a rare imperial format. This 2003 Giscours offers rich, sun-kissed fruit, soft tannins and notes of leather, truffle and ripe blackberries.
Château Giscours, a Third Growth from the 1855 classification, lies in the heart of Margaux on deep gravel soils. The 2003 vintage, shaped by a scorching summer, produced rich, ripe and early-maturing wines in the Médoc.
This Imperial-format (6L) bottle of Giscours 2003 is in its ideal drinking window. The bouquet reveals stewed black fruit, dried fig, leather, forest floor and sweet spices. The palate is silky, mellow and harmonious, finishing long on notes of tobacco, cedar and dark chocolate. Perfect for sharing during special occasions.
