Deep ruby Port with garnet reflections. Expressive and refined nose blending stewed dark fruits (plum, blackcurrant, fig), black cherry, licorice, dark chocolate, mocha, blond tobacco, and a subtle floral note. On the palate, the attack is generous with a dense, velvety texture. The tannins are softened but still provide structure, supported by moderate acidity. Flavors of macerated fruits, bitter cocoa, spiced caramel, and kirsch unfold with elegance. The finish is long, fresh, and minty, with lingering notes of fruit and sweet spice. At peak maturity after nearly 30 years, this is a Vintage Port that combines power, finesse, and balance. Best enjoyed after decanting.
