The Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru lies at the southern end of Gevrey-Chambertin and is known for producing wines of finesse and fullness. The Humbert Frères estate, based in Gevrey, offers a bold and elegant interpretation of this historic climat.
The 2018 vintage delivers a powerful yet balanced wine, with aromas of black cherry, licorice, incense, dried rose and bitter cocoa. The palate is rich and velvety, with fine tannins and a long, slightly saline finish. A Grand Cru of both depth and charm, ideal for cellaring or enjoying with refined cuisine.
