Description

The 2021 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru from Domaine Agnès Paquet is a striking expression of this iconic limestone terroir. From a cool, low-yielding vintage, the wine shows a pale, silver-tinged hue and a refined nose of citrus zest, pear, white flowers, and a flinty mineral edge. On the palate, it is precise and vibrant, with a taut, linear attack that broadens into a textured, saline mid-palate. Notes of lemon confit and fresh almond linger on a long, chalky finish. The oak is subtle and well-integrated, adding depth without overshadowing the wine’s purity.
