The Clos Rougeard Le Bourg 2012 comes from a limestone parcel and is the most concentrated and solar cuvée of the estate. Its full potential only reveals itself after 10 to 20 years of aging, offering a tasting experience of great depth.
This 2012 vintage stands out with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by spicy notes of black pepper and licorice. On the palate, it is characterized by a silky texture and a well-defined structure. Deep flavors of juicy red fruits, cassis, and blackberry are intertwined with subtle hints of vanilla and tobacco. Fresh acidity and fine tannins extend the tasting, leaving an elegant and persistent finish. A powerful and refined wine that evolves beautifully over time.
