Côtes du Jura Savagnin 2004 “Les Vignes de mon Père” - domaine Ganevat
Legendary cuvée by Jean-François Ganevat, aged over 10 years in barrel, rare and exceptionally complex.
From old-vine Savagnin planted on the marl soils of the Jura, rich in clay and ancient marine fossils, Les Vignes de mon Père is a legendary cuvée by Jean-François Ganevat. Its uniqueness lies in an extraordinary aging of over 130 months in barrel without topping up, creating unmatched depth and complexity.
The golden robe with amber reflections opens to an intense nose of walnut, curry, saffron, dried fruits, and candied citrus. On the palate, it is broad, profound, and vibrant, carried by a saline and mineral backbone that balances the wine’s aromatic richness. The finish is endless, revealing rare elegance and remarkable persistence.
