Riesling Sommerberg SGN 2007- Albert Boxler
2007 Riesling Sommerberg Sélection de Grains Nobles – Albert Boxler
This rare sweet wine comes from the iconic Sommerberg Grand Cru, a steep granite slope in Niedermorschwihr, Alsace. In 2007, ideal botrytis conditions yielded a Sélection de Grains Nobles of striking intensity and crystalline purity.
Crafted by Jean Boxler, one of Alsace’s most revered vignerons, this wine combines concentration, lift and piercing minerality, true to the estate’s style.
Nose: Bright and detailed: candied citrus, yuzu zest, fir honey, white blossoms and stony undertones.
Palate: Lush and vibrant, with sweet, silky texture and razor-sharp acidity. The finish is long, saline and deeply aromatic.
