A family tradition revived with passion

Jean‑Pierre Pellegrin took over the estate in 1989, after studying archaeology, and chose to vinify himself (1994), transforming the 17th-century farm into an artisanal winery. He cultivates 14 ha (extended to 30 ha under lease) with more than 25 grape varieties, in organic viticulture without certification .

Custom plots, grape varieties, and terroirs

Located in Peissy/Satigny (AOC Geneva), between 425–500 m, the estate benefits from Jurassic soils partly limestone. The grape varieties are varied: Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc/Sauvignon, Merlot, Gamaret, Auxerrois, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Kerner, Riesling, Viognier… .

Estate style: precision, Swiss elegance

Nicknamed "the watchmaker of Swiss winemakers," Jean‑Pierre seeks finesse. The reds, like the Grand’Cour Rouge (Cabernet‑Franc/Sauvignon) or "P" Pinot‑Noir, are distinguished by delicate tannins, precise structure, and elegant freshness. The whites, vinified in tank, amphora, or barrel, show complexity and saline tension .

Aging and vinification: tools at the service of the terroir

Manual harvesting in several passes, fermentations with indigenous yeasts (sometimes inoculated for simple wines), and parcel-based choice of containers: stainless steel tanks, amphorae, Burgundy or Bordeaux barrels, depending on the grape variety .
